Palm Beach Dramaworks Elects Attorney Edward M. Ricci as Vice Chair of Executive Committee

September 1, 2009

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - West Palm Beach attorney Edward M. Ricci has been elected as vice chair of Palm Beach Dramaworks. Palm Beach Dramaworks is a professional nonprofit theatre company that engages and entertains audiences with provocative and timeless productions that personally impact each individual. It is West Palm Beach’s only residential professional theatre and they celebrate their tenth anniversary this season.

“I am proud to serve as vice chair of Dramaworks’ Executive Committee,” Ricci said. “I have been an avid theatre-goer and supporter of the arts for more than 30 years. There is nothing like live theatre.”

Dramaworks’ mission is to enhance the quality of life through the transformative power of live theatre,” added Ricci. “Live theatre allows you to become involved, you experience the actor’s emotions - what they think and feel, their energy - your senses are awakened.”

Last season the New Times Magazine awarded Palm Beach Dramaworks with Best Theatrical Season. Their tenth anniversary season is shaping up to be another showstopper with masterful works by four influential playwrights. Shows include “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen, “Copenhagen” by Michael Frayn, “American Buffalo” by David Mamet, and “Three Tall Women” by Edward Albee.
